Provincial Resource:

Mother risk -The Alcohol and Substance Use Helpline - 1-877-327-4636 - offers information and counseling to pregnant and breastfeeding women, their families, and health care providers about the effects of alcohol, nicotine and drugs like marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy. Help line information is based on continuing research and study by Moth risk’s specialized team of physicians, psychologists, pharmacologists and counselors. They can reach be reached:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm in each of Canada's time zones

in English or French

Motherisk's Home Line - (416) 813-6780 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST - for information about the risk or safety of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, herbal products, chemicals, x-rays, chronic disease and infections during pregnancy. Callers may have to wait up to 10 minutes to speak to a counsellor.
